He also refuted rumours regarding his future at the club, as he denied that elimination from the Champions League would result in his sacking.
Speaking at his pre-match press conference, the Italian coach told reporters, "We need to play the game with a lot of heart and balls."
He then added, "I don’t think this Arsenal game will impact my future at Real Madrid. I’m looking forward to tomorrow. Keep your head cold, keep going. It’s not my first big game, and I hope it will NOT be the last one. I’m excited."
After facing Mikel Arteta's side on Wednesday, Los Blancos will be back in action in La Liga on April 20 as they take on Athletic Club in a crucial home fixture.
